The time is now

We're coming up on yet another month, except this one is important. It's November, and this means it's voting time.

You're probably ticked off at the excessive number of ads and prerecorded messages you get every day now, but voting is the most important civic duty you have. It's effectively the only way to voice your opinion in the United States (unless you have the money and time to run a campaign).

So on November 7th, if you're of voting age, get out there and vote. It doesn't even matter to me who you vote for. If you don't know who the candidates are, you can read all about them on the internet. Just make sure that you're reading objective sources.

Curious to see what the polls (which can be flawed, but that's a topic for another day) are reflecting, and who will probably take control of the House and the Senate this year? Visit http://www.electoral-vote.com and take a look; it's pretty neat.

And my final word of advice? Make sure you're voting for what you believe in, not who you think will win.

See you at the polls.
